About Matthew

Originally from The County, Matt knows the value of hard work and a commitment to neighbors and the community. He moved to Portland in 2011 to pursue education, completing his degree at the University of Southern Maine and earning a BA in Business with a concentration in Finance. In 2017, Matt and his wife bought their first investment property in Portland. To progress his skills and knowledge in property maintenance, Matt transitioned into residential construction. His experience ranges from framing and siding to remodels and finish work. Matt decided to pursue real estate full-time to expand his grasp on the housing market. After hearing the call to return to his roots, Matt moved back to Aroostook County and created Crown Lakes Realty with his wife, Kristy. He brings an outstanding finance, construction, and investment property ownership background. He is a true Mainer through and through, enjoying hunting in the Allagash Wilderness, downhill skiing at Big Rock in Mars Hill, and mountain biking the local trails.
