About Matthew
Matthew is a true Olympian! Born and raised in the Capitol of our fine State of Washington and a graduate of Olympia High School. When he is not in his offices helping families to buy and sell homes, he can be found with his own family, in the backyard around the fire pit, watching movies, taking in a Rainier’s game or tackling their own home improvement projects. He "tries" to play golf and he loves to travel. Most of all he loves his wife, Valerie, and his two boys, Alex and Ethan.
Matthew's background is an eclectic blend of skills and specialties that have served the growth and success of MVP Realty Group, including experience in Banking, Information Technology, Small Start-up Businesses, and Broadcasting. Matt owes his ability to help clients buy, sell, and build wealth to his education in Financial Planning, Life Insurance, Debt Management & Elimination, and Retirement Planning.
No one sells more real estate in Thurston County than Matthew.* Practicing since 2004 and selling over 700 properties, he has had the opportunity to help his clients succeed in the midst some of the most challenging situations and market conditions, with a reputation as an extremely skillful negotiator, which results in the highest possible return on his clients' investments in the shortest amount of time.
"I help more than six times the number of families make their moves each year than the average Realtor. I do not represent any big builders or developments. That's just one home, one family at a time.
With that kind of volume comes tremendous experience, both for myself as well as all of my team, which ensures that there are very few circumstances and transactional challenges we have not faced. My Transaction Coordinator, for example, has more experience and knowledge than many of the agents who represent the other parties in our transactions.
With 90% of our business coming by referral from our past clients, the onus is on us to do an exceptional job, lest our clients would no longer refer us and our business would flounder. In addition, availability and reaction time is key in a competitive market, such as ours. We as a team working together for our clients have much more capacity and capability in that regard than any single agent. Consider a doctor's office with no nurses or staff. It would be chaos! Our approach ensures that no details fall through the cracks and that our clients have a truly exceptional experience."
