We work with Matt on the purchase of our first home and it was a wonderful experience. Matt is really nice guy with a super impressive knowledge of the real estate market. This knowledge was clearly shown in his ability to understand the market demands, find selections of homes that tailored to our goals, and use negotiation skills that always guaranteed our offers were in the top choices. Matt is also super responsive, every single time we wanted to see a home he made sure we saw it as quickly as possible, and guided us the entire process. His attention to detail was also an incredible skill set that sets him apart. In each of the homes we saw he provided details from remodel costs to home design. His assistant, Jennifer Fish was also a valuable asset that made the whole experience smooth. They were both super efficient! We had an excellent experience buying our first home with Matt. Matt's consultative, no-pressure guidance and true market expertise made us feel confident in our decision, even in such a competitive market. He was a great sounding board through the process, deeply understood our needs and was able to keep us grounded and not settle in a market with limited supply - even when we got over excited about homes that didn't check all of our boxes. We ended up in the right home and Matt's guidance helped us get here.

While we weren't limited to new builds, Matt's knowledge of the building process/materials was really helpful as we toured a variety of older houses to understand potential unforeseen costs down the road. He was exceptionally communicative, and even after closing he continues to connect us with contractors.

Matt and his team are a joy to work with and such good people. We would highly recommend working with Matt!

We bought a house in Lake Oswego and Moved from SF Bay area. Matt is a fantastic realter and could be given ten stars.
We have been looking for our house since 2019, before COVID. Once we stopped looking for our house for a half month, but he was happy to help us. It's hard to look for the house every week from CA, but he was helping to go and zoom to looking our house tour. He is very knowledgeable, honesty, and helpful. After closing the escrow, Matt is still helping to be introduce constructors or follow up our new house. We strongly recommend him and would like to deal with him in the future, too.

After interviewing 2 other agents we sat down with Matt Tercek who efficiently and gracefully outlined his plan for helping us identify and obtain our home in the Portland Metro market. He demonstrated his mastery of current real estate technology, knowledge of the market/trends, and also his interpersonal effectiveness in collaborating with third parties during this short visit. We quickly decided to give him a chance to assist us. We would come to realize his value would be even greater than we had anticipated.

Matt was patient with my partner and I, showing us homes in a few different zip codes and allowing us to discover things we did not initially realize were important considerations in the purchase along with providing valuable insights as we toured the properties. We never once felt pressured or that his patience was running out, even when we were forced to cancel a deal due to an inspection issue. Mr. Tercek took time to explain the contracts to us and knew when we needed a little reassurance or an outside opinion that was missing.

It truly is hard to overstate Matt's value in our process and transaction. His professionalism is amazing and his friendly demeanor made us feel like we were working with a friend and not just a vendor. We now consider Matt "our agent" and look forward to seeing his successes and working with him again when the day comes. You can rest assured that you will be extremely hard pressed to find a better realtor experience in the Portland, Oregon region!
