About Matthias

Matthias grew up in Columbus, Ohio (he’s a big buckeye fan we apologize) and then moved to Holland at the age of 12 because his dad got a job at Hope as a professor. He wanted to attend OSU, but realized he would be a nut (pun intended) to pass up Hope’s tuition break. He graduated from Hope College in 2014 with a major in Math and Secondary Education. He then moved to Denver, CO with his beautiful wife Marga and taught high school math for two years. In the summer of 2016 Matthias moved to South Haven to help out his father in law Karlis Galens manage a Blueberry farm in Covert and had a great experience working with a realtor in South Haven when he was buying a home. This inspired Matthias to become a realtor. Matthias strongly believes that buying/selling a home is the biggest financial decision that a person will make. He has a passion to help and serve people making sure that they are as informed as possible as they embark on the exciting journey of buying/selling a home.
