About Maureen

I have been serving the coastal community of Florence since 1994! My husband Tom and I raised our four children in New York. After Tom's retirement from the New York City fire department we moved to coastal North Carolina for 8 years. My family and I discovered and moved to this lovely coastal town of Florence after a extensive camping trip across the country in 1993. I started my real estate career in July of 1994 and joined Prudential Pacific Properties in 1996. In 1997 I earned my associate broker license and was asked to become designated/principal broker in 2001. I have been awarded through the Prudential network recognition in the honor society, leading edge society and in 2005 joined the presidents circle. In 2013 awarded into the Honor Society by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Northwest! On November 6th, 2013 we became Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Northwest Real Estate. In 2000 I earned the Fine Homes International designation to help better serve sellers and buyers. To best service internet buyers of today I obtained my e-certification. In 2003 I earned the certified residential specialist designation "CRS". Which is the highest designation awarded to sales professionals in the residential sales field. In December 2006 I completed the graduate realtor institute designation "GRI" in recognition of the prescribed courses in real estate practice and ethics from the Oregon association of realtors. I have successfully completed "ABR" accredited buyers representative designation, by the real estate buyer´s agent council, inc. (an affiliate of the national association of realtors.) My goal is to give #1 customer service to all buyers and sellers! I served two 3 year term as a board director for the central Oregon coast board of realtors and served as MLS chair for 3 years. I have been active member on the MLS committee since 1995 and served 2 years as vice chairperson. Currently serving a third 3 year position as service advisory committee representative for Florence with the RMLS. I was honored by my peers in 2004 "Realtor of the Year" by the Central Oregon coast board of realtors. I truly believe continuing education and service in my local board provides me with the knowledge to serve my clients best! I have been a member in good standing with the rotary club of Florence since 2007.
