In October of 2014 my son and I decided to move our Real Estate License to a new brokerage. We were tired of paying excessive desk fees , with a minimal commission split and being treated like a number instead of a person. We never even received any potential leads from our most recent brokerage? So we started interviewing brokerages in our geographical area. We interviewed with three different high profile brokerages. But to our dismay it was the same old stodgy promises compiled with excessive desk fees and minimal commission splits and the same old marketing strategies. By good virtue of a prior business partner and fellow realtor I was told I should go interview with Maury O' Hearn at Sellstate Ridgeview Realty in El Dorado Hills. Boy am I glad we did! Imagine an atmosphere where agents collectively work and network with each other! You get to keep more of the money you make and the marketing is a well thought out machine. I have been with SellState Ridgeway Realty for just over a week and I have already been given a really good lead and picked up two prospective buyers at an open house in El Dorado Hills and have opened by first escrow! Plus I now have a state of the art web site that is geared to build my business by obtaining and generating leads! My son and I could not be more happy! I want to personally thank Maury O' Hearn for helping me and my son with the transition and the time and support and assistance he has given us. We would truly recommend to any agent who is considering a brokerage change to call Maury and interview with him at our beautiful office located in El Dorado Hills ! You will not be sorry, because we don't apologize for being the best !

I most recently decided to make a career change and move my Real Estate license. I interviewed with countless well known companies in El Dorado County. I found however there was not much difference in the way they were structured with excessive desk fees, very little difference in their commission structures and an atmosphere more conducive to advertising their brand rather than promoting their agents. Then a good friend and fellow Realtor told me to interview with Sellstate Ridgeview Realty in El Dorado Hills. I contacted Maury O'Hearn and we met the next day. What a breath of fresh air. Within minutes I knew this was something different and exciting. A company structure that allows you to retain more of your commission, promotes you as an agent, has excellent marketing capabilities, and provides an atmosphere that encourages agents to network with each other! Finally a company that thinks #outsideofthebox ! Within one week I have been handed leads, listed a home and have another home in escrow. I want to personally thank Maury for helping make the transition a smooth one. Extremely helpful. He was a very strong recommendation from another family member whom I trust implicitly. For such a busy guy, her is always cheerful and is an excellent communicator and returns my calls in a timely manner. I would definitely use him again!
