McKenna Behrens, wife to Paden, mother of four children, and real estate Broker, founded Heartland Real Estate in 2022, after falling in love with the industry since 2013. An Oklahoma native, she moved to Brady, Texas in 2008 after graduating from the University of Oklahoma to volunteer for K-Life youth ministries. It was that year that she met and quickly fell in love with Paden, hometown boy, and by the grace of God, they married and began full-time youth ministry for the next three years, together. When God called Paden into planting a church in 2013, they were sent to Lubbock for church planting residency and McKenna had the opportunity to work for Keller Williams Realty. The seeds were planted, and after a solid introduction and great training, she was convinced that real estate offered the perfect pairing of her desire for relationships with people, meet real needs, create win-win sales, and, especially important to her, welcome the outsider to a new small town.

She has been selling real estate in the hill country since 2014, and is known for creative marketing, innovation, excellent client communication, and keeping a strong pulse on the real estate market for the benefit of her clients. McKenna prizes her clients’ successful experiences in their transactions as a great reward and has received over 50 five-star reviews published online.
