01/26/2016 - Jimijet Bought a home in 2016 in Seneca, SC. My wife an I were visiting our cabin in N.C. and wanted to continue our search for a home on Lake Keowee while we were in the area again. Melanie took a cold call from us near the Christmas holiday to look at one of her listings and a couple of lots we were interested in. We met with her the next day. She interviewed us, carefully listened to our preferences, then presented us with several properties to view in addition to the ones we had already discussed. Written information on everything was presented to us prior to heading out on a well organized tour of the properties we'd decided to look at. All the homes we viewed were excellent choices, but we still wanted to look at the lots we'd chosen. By the end of the tour we decided on a perfect lot she'd shown us, so we decided to make an offer to purchase it. Melanie presented our offer and notified us that the deal had closed at our offering price, within two hours of us making the offer. Since we were out of town customers, Melanie set us up with an excellent Law firm to do our closing remotely. She also made the arrangements for a mandatory perk test on the property prior to closing. She also took care of a couple of minor amendments to the original contract paperwork prior to the closing. Our closing went flawlessly and we're very happy. Melanie is a good listener, knowledgeable on the market, very well organized, very good with timely communications and is a very pleasant person to work with. I would highly recommend Melanie to anyone looking for property in her area.
