Melanie Hartwell

Melanie Hartwell is the owner and managing broker of Lincoln Realty, Inc. She was born and raised in Batesville, Indiana. Melanie is a 1986 graduate of Oldenburg Academy of the Immaculate Conception, then she went on to attend Indiana University, where she graduated in 1991 with a bachelors' degree in social work.

Before going into real estate, Melanie worked as a social worker for Family Health Services from 1993 to 2000. In the year 2000, Melanie became a realtor because she felt that, after working with her family's construction company for several years, she had gained a great deal of industry knowledge that would help her meet the needs of each of her clients.

Melanie and her husband, Richard, reside in Batesville, Indiana with their two sons, Carson and Grant. In her spare time, you might find her spending time with her family, golfing, or working to make her community a better place through her involvement with St. Louis Catholic Church in Batesville, golf outings for the Decatur County Family YMCA, or the South Central Indiana Hospice.
