Melanie Smith and Dieter Hartmann have been living in San Carlos since 1989. Melanie, a San Francisco Bay Area native, and Dieter, originally from Germany, have lived in San Mateo County for over 30 years. Prior to their careers in real estate, Dieter and Melanie owned and operated the Miramar Beach Inn in Half Moon Bay. As well as being a great team in real estate, Melanie and Dieter enjoy competing occasionally as a doubles team at local tennis courts around San Carlos.
