Melanie Young

Born and raised in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, I have remained in Franklin County because of the area’s beauty, the wonderful hospitality of the folks in my community and strong family connections. I was a teacher at Franklin County High School for 31 years where I taught Math and Computer Science and forged friendships with many of my former students. I have always enjoyed construction and home improvement, and enjoy seeing different houses and their designs. Becoming a Realtor after retiring from teaching has given me the perfect opportunity to meet new people, explore new properties and play match-maker between between buyers and the property of their dreams.
