My family had the pleasure of renting a home through Melinda Tyre and Associates for nearly 6 years. From January 2015 to September of 2020. It was a wonderful rental experience for us. Melinda and her staff treated us very well. Always responded in a timely manner if I reached out and scheduled home inspections on my time. They always checked on us after big storms or hurricanes. They've been a wonderful company to deal with. If we ever move back to the area, we'll definitely use Melinda Tyre again.

I can only say I have known Melinda for over 30 years and she is a Consummate Professional. She helped me rent a Property in 1997, Sold me a New house in 2007 and re-Sold the same same property for me in April of 2019. She is always helpful, courteous and gets the job done. I see comments about rentals and that is a hard job in a Military town. But I don't trust many people, but I assure you, she has the upmost integrity and I Trust her with all my Real Estate Business. Simply the Best Around Jacksonville with No Pressure - Hands Down !!! A +++

This woman is southern hospitality at its best! Shes been involved in the military for 30+ years and knows everything about Jacksonville and the surrounding cities. We were a 4 person and 1 dog family living in a tiny cramped up apartment when we called and asked about one of her houses for rent. She picked up on the first ring and sounded so excited to help us. She showed a couple of homes on the market that weren't even listed with her company but we chose her listing because it was so much better kept than the other homes. She even got the homeowner to go down on the rent for us. She worked with us on getting the funds in and stayed in touch answering all of our questions through out the whole process. Always answered her cell no matter what day of the week and if not she'd call back within the hour. Always with a smile on her face. During our rental period we had a few repairs needed and they were always done on a timely manner. Even on the weekends if the property manager couldn't get a company out she would send a professional contractor to fix the issue.
After many months of paying rent we decided it was time to take our money and invest it in our own home. She was glad to help us find a home to buy. Gave us a nice list of homes to see and she took us to every one. She already knew what we liked and didn't like based on the relationship made during the rental process. She helped us through the whole mortgage lender side of things even though it wasn't her job/ specialty. Once we picked a home, she was there for everything. She told us everything we had to do. We were never left confused or uneasy about a decision because she answered every single question with an easy to understand answer. She helped us pick the lender, home inspector, closing attorney everything. We knew what we were signing each time and knowledgeable about each decision we made. She was there for the home inspection and closing to answer our questions to them. (attorneys sometimes forget that normal people speak English and not lawyer and she was able to clarify each detail) During the home inspection she gave us advice on the repairs needed. (she was never pushy or seemed like a know it all. She answered questions to the best of her knowledge and with honesty.) I LOVED my home buying experience and I love the home she helped us pick! Being from out of state she made us feel at home in Jacksonville. I would recommend her to anyone! Very professional! Also very understanding of military life and the hours! And my kids loved her too!

I read some of the other reviews and what it sounded like to me was that those people were really bad tenants and felt like they weren't responsible for damages they made to someone else' property! What a nightmare! People need to be responsible for their actions, especially when they are living in someone else' home! It can't be her fault if people are breaking lease terms. She can't stand at every property and make sure everyone is doing what they are supposed to do! When you rent a property you are supposed to fill out a move in inspection so that when you move out, any discrepancies in the property are noted so you can;t be held responsible.

Also if you notice how similar the bad reviews are and how similar the writing is, you can tell that its one person making multiple bad reviews because he claims to have had such a bad experience.

Melinda is so lovely to work with! I can attest that all of the bad comments of her personally are false. She's very professional and respectful. And ALWAYS available.
