Melissa Kalauli

Born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, Melissa grew up in our lovely Hilo town. She attended St. Joseph Elementary and High School then graduated from Hilo High School. She also graduated from the University of Hawaii at Hilo with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Administration of Justice. While at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, Melissa was a member of the National Political Science Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha.

After deciding to “get her feet wet” in the Real Estate industry, Melissa obtained her Real Estate Salesperson license in 1990 and her Real Estate Broker’s license in 2004. After working with a well-known real estate company and managing their property management division for 17 years, it was time to move on and Melissa Kalauli Realty, LLC was established in 2011.

Involved in all aspects of the real estate, from managing rental property to listings and sales, Melissa is an expert in working with tenants, property owners, buyers, and sellers. She currently resides in Hilo with her husband George, and their two children. When not working, Melissa is busy enjoying life with her family.
