Melissa McCune is one of a kind! We met her when she showed us a house that she had listed. The house wasn’t a good fit but Melissa certainly was, and we asked her to represent us when we found a house that we really liked. She is hard working, honest, knowledgeable, personable, and a true professional. During the negotiations (with an unscrupulous realtor and arrogant owner), Melissa served as our psychologist, advisor, and trusted friend. She continued to show us other desirable, less expensive homes, even though it would lead to a lower commission for her. She kept us sane and we finally closed on the home we wanted.
If you need a realtor, look no further. Whether you are buying or selling a home, engaging Melissa will be the best decision you could ever make!

When it came time for me to sell my stepmother's home, I asked Melissa to help me traverse that process. My stepmother was quite the collector of things, and the house was stuffed full. The first thing that Melissa did was to roll up her sleeves and help me organize, and work at a yard sale. The process of selling your home to her is not just listing it, and finding buyers. But rather it was to help you in any way she could to go through and get things done in order to find those buyers, and to get the best price for your property. She came over to the property and placed her own outdoor lighting around the yard to give it that great curb appeal. Because of her hard work, we were able to sell the home right away, and got a great price for it. But her help did not stop there. Now there was the escrow process, with all of its paperwork to trudge through. Again, Melissa was right there to help explain everything. I can honestly say that, when you need a relator to help you sell your property, you can do no better than Melissa McCune.

I cannot say enough great things about Melissa! She has worked with myself, my brother/his wife and also my parents and we are all big Melissa fans.
Melissa is incredibly knowledgable, trustworthy, and takes the time to make sure she truly understands you and what you're looking for. Melissa clearly outlined market conditions, the pros/cons of each option throughout negotiations, and helped me make meaningful decisions to lock down the deal. Melissa works hard, is always willing to chat through questions and strategies, and makes sure that you are feeling comfortable throughout the process. Melissa is not only a phenomenal agent and wonderful to work with, but she is also a great human being which is a nice cherry on top :)

We are not the type who, typically, leaves a review. In this case it is well deserved. Melissa went well beyond what you would expect from a real estate agent. Prior to the house even going on the market she was working to sell our home. She walked the neighborhood distributing ‘coming soon’ flyers, she checked on the house often (since we were relocating out-of-state), had open house, prepared us for the process of selling, and acted as a voice of reason and a friend. Selling a home is stressful and Melissa did all she could to minimize that stress. She is experienced, seems to have endless amounts of energy, and always has a positive outlook. A pleasure to work with and we highly recommend her.

Melissa is FANTASTIC! She worked tirelessly to help us sell our house in Bankers Hill. She then worked with us to buy a new residence in downtown San Diego. Melissa is incredibly responsive and detail oriented. We felt that she always was acting in our best interest and feel very fortunate we crossed paths. Melissa was very helpful in locating properties and continues to stay in touch to see how things are going and is always upbeat and puts the customer first. She is very easy going and doesn't push something on you that you don't want. In today's market it is very difficult to find anything affordable enough to even li look at, but Mekissa will try her hardest to find you what you can truly wrap your head and pocket book around
