Melissa Sprouse Browne

Melissa is the Broker In Charge of South Carolina Realty and owner of the Real Estate School of South Carolina, where she is licensed as a real estate instructor and holds the CDEI credential (certified distance education instructor). She is also President of The Marketing Division, a full service advertising agency, partner in Redeemed Properties, LLC and host of The Senior Care Show. Melissa has extensive experience in the marketing, advertising and public relations field as well as senior care. She has served as creative director of a multi-million dollar advertising agency, the regional marketing director for Trane Comfort Solutions, publications manager for the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce and was the marketing director for one of the larger real estate firms on the East Coast. She's been a licensed real estate professional since 1999. She has consistently remained in the top 15% of real estate professionals, actively listing and selling both residential and commercial properties and in 2023 found herself in the top 3%. In 2024, 2025 and 2026, she's performed in the top 5% of her market.

She was a featured host in the Columbia, SC market for The American Dream, a national television show focusing on real estate, lifestyle and culture. She’s also the author of several non-fiction books, including My Best Friend is a Liar: The Real Life Story of a World Class Con Artist. She attended the University of South Carolina and majored in Criminal Justice. She also attended California Coast University and majored in health care administration. She’s active in her community, volunteering in the Three Rivers Region, Porsche Club of America as well as other civic organizations. She has experience in senior care and loves to work with older adults.
