In life, there are catalysts which lead us on a journey. Design is Meredith Parsons’ catalyst.
“I am a 3rd generation member of a furniture family with a degree in small business, and minors in advertising, design and art from the University of Vermont. So, it was natural for me to make my way to High Point, the furniture capital of the world, to explore a career in furniture design,” she says.
From furniture design, she transitioned to flipping homes.
“My first project was on my own home with my husband, David. We completely gutted it from the inside out, doing all of the work ourselves,” she says. “I was hooked.”
Once she got a solid hold on flipping, she journeyed on a path to becoming a REALTOR.
“Naturally, I’m at ease helping buyers visualize the potential in homes,” Meredith explains. “I’m able to look at the potential and help them understand ‘what could be’.”
After seven years in real estate, she’s now added home staging to her repertoire. Embellish Home Staging & Design is just another progression along her journey… a journey she was destined to take.
Originally from Ellicott City, Md., Meredith loves skiing, trying to play golf, art, design, renovation and spending time with her husband David, her son, Will, and daughter, Cricket.
