About Merinda
Having moved to Colorado in 1986, Merinda is not quite a Native, but the roots are deep! She has worked with all types of residential real estate for over 25 years. I specialize in equestrian/horse properties, ranches, and raw land, which requires extensive knowledge of water & mineral rights, zoning, etc.
She and her husband live on a small ranch in southeast Douglas County and raise Angus cattle. They love to camp and trail ride throughout Colorado with their horses. They also compete in team penning/sorting events.
They live the rural lifestyle every day. Because of that, she understands what makes a property work for someone who just wants some elbow room and good trailing riding compared to someone wanting a true working ranch... or someone wanting that perfect piece of ground to build your dream home.
She has always believed, done correctly, real estate is a service industry, not a sales industry. Buying or selling a home is, for many people, one of the largest financial decisions they will make in their lives. Your needs are most important. Merinda is your advocate. She is here to help you with the many decisions, large and small, that are required through the real estate process. She is here to guide you through the contracts and paperwork that are an essential part of any transaction. Merinda is an advocate for you every step of the way. And she continues to be your advocate after the transaction has closed.
Merinda made a conscious decision years ago to build a referral-based business, because she believes in the power of quality service and lifetime clients. Her clients' continued confidence and referrals are her greatest compliment. She is grateful and humbled to have clients who have collaborated with her for 20+ years and continue to refer their friends and relatives to her. Merinda would love to welcome you as part of our family!
