A Cambridge local through and through, Merrill Berkery has always had a deep connection to her hometown roots. Raised on the historic Avon Hill Street, she spent her early days running along the Charles River, frequenting Harvard Square and biking Storrow Drive on Sundays.

Fast forward two decades, and Merrill’s still got her finger on the pulse of Cambridge's nuanced neighborhoods, and more importantly, the ever-changing market trends.

Real estate is Merrill's second career; prior to that she spent almost ten years in the financial services industry. She was most recently a Client Relationship manager, which transitioned well into her role as a real estate partner.

If there’s one undercurrent throughout her work, it’s a prevailing passion for helping others realize their dream of homeownership. Merrill knows how life changing buying or selling a home can be, and she works tirelessly to protect the best interests of her clients. A mother of two young boys herself, she sees properties through a unique lens, prioritizing all the aspects that make a house a home – top-notch schools, plenty of space to play, and a sense of community.

Her approach is simple. It starts with relationship building. Equal parts responsive and reassuring, Merrill is quick to crystalize her clients’ goals, then takes the steps to make it happen – as swiftly or slowly as her clients dictate. With a penchant for details, Merrill is a pro at preparing homes for sale and advising her clients throughout the process. She’s equally adept at writing strategic offers for her buyers and helping them win in very competitive situations. In a word, Merrill is perfect merger of style and substance.

Co-founder of the celebrated Savenor Berkery Group, Merrill resides in Lincoln with her husband and two kiddoes. Beloved for its small town feel and wide-open spaces, she’s big on Lincoln’s hiking, biking and walking scene. She also loves a swim across Walden Pond, no matter what the weather. She was recently appointed as a Town Finance Committee member and also participates in Lincoln's SEPAC. Travel is another one of Merrill's passions - she is known for taking a yearly Ireland trip to visit her husband’s stomping grounds and jumping in at the Forty Foot for a refreshing swim! Real estate is a natural fit given Merrill's enthusiasm for working with people, local area knowledge, and interest in interior design.

Merrill and her business partner Nichole are successful in helping their clients buy and sell real estate in the Greater Boston area - in particular Arlington, Belmont, Brookline, Cambridge, Lincoln, Medford, Newton, Watertown, Waltham & Somerville.
