About Merritt

Merritt is an 11th-generation Delaware native with a long-standing family history in the First State. She earned her bachelor's degree in health behavior science from the University of Delaware and also has a background working in property management in the Rehoboth Beach area. Originally from New Castle, Delaware, she now lives in Rehoboth Beach with her husband, Shawn McDonnell, their son, Jack, and their four rescue dogs. She has been a member of the Carrie Lingo Team with Jack Lingo, Realtors since 2016. In addition to her real estate work, Merritt serves on the board of the Fort Miles Historical Association, Fort Miles Museum, Friends of Cooch's Bridge Historic Site, and Old Landing Woods Owners Association.
