Meryl Diamond

While I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, I have spent the last 27 years living in the Lisle and Naperville area. The first single family home my husband and I ever owned was in Green Trails, Lisle. There were two things we loved about living in Green Trails - the sense of community and all the green space. This was a dream come true for my children who always had a friend to play with or a babysitter near by. For me, it gave me a chance to get to know the neighbors whom I have built lifelong friendships with.
Once the kids were older we realized we needed more space, so we purchased our second home in Naperville. This transition was easy for our family, as Naperville is not only close to Lisle, but has the same community feel that we loved about Green Trails. My children got to attend Naperville 203 schools, my husband had easy access to I-88 so he could commute to Chicago.
The kids are grown up now (funny how time flies!) but Naperville continues to be the ideal place to live. With Downtown Naperville so close, I get to enjoy trying new restaurants and there always seems to be live music to enjoy.
