After falling in love with the Oregon lifestyle, Michael and his wife, DJ, relocated from Southern California to Portland in 2001. He is proud to have raised two accomplished daughters—one an elementary school teacher, the other a professional soccer player who competed with the U.S. Women’s National Team in the 2003 World Cup. Today, his four grandchildren are, in his words, the icing on the cake.
