Michael Caporizzo

Michael Caporizzo hails from Lower Fairfield County where he partnered with an architectural design firm that serviced clients such as Macy's and Philadelphia Children’s Hospital. It was now in his sales career that Michael realized his passion for the business of architecture and design. Michael and his family sought a change in lifestyle, and in their search for a more peaceful country setting they discovered Washington. As Michael planned for their move to Litchfield County he turned to his family's business of construction and design for inspiration and pursued a new career in the field of real estate. It was with Sotheby's International branding that he knew he could fuse his keen salesmanship and love of architectural expression.

Having sought a passion rather than a field, Michael has proven himself to be a top producer in his Washington Depot office. He accredits his success to working with the best marketing team real estate has to offer as well as his expansive contact list from his sales career that traversed the states.

Honesty, reliability, and business acumen define Michael as an agent. He treats his clients’ properties as investments and as such tactfully approaches the negotiation process, placing his clients’ interests primarily.

Outside of the professional realm Michael is a proud father to his infant son, Jude, and daughter Lucy. He is also enthusiastic about preservation and is treasurer of The Institute of American Indian Studies Museum & Research Center in Washington, Connecticut.
