About Michael

Mike started exploring the Hudson Valley when he attended SUNY New Paltz in the 1990s, playing in various bands around the region, hiking and biking our state parks and preserves.

He and his family were weekenders for many years, splitting time between NYC and New Paltz / Gardiner, becoming full time Ulster County residents in 2020. Mike has great interest in historic houses, and has restored 6 homes from the 1800s, 2 of them in landmark districts.

Mike is a board member of Walkway Over the Hudson and the New Paltz Bicycle-Pedestrian Committee.
