Raised in Madison, NJ, Michael received a degree in Business Administration from St. Michael’s College in Vermont, met his wife Katie in Washington, D.C., and moved to Sarasota with her in 1982 when he joined Michael Saunders & Company. Community service is important to Michael, and he has been active in several local organizations serving as board chair, president, and committee member, generally providing support for Sarasota’s youth and health and human services groups.

He is an expert at guiding his clients through the complexities of buying and selling properties, whether primary residence, vacation home, the waterfront lifestyle, golf community or investment property.
