About Michael

Michael uses his unique background in finance, landscape construction, tax, and real estate law to help his clients through all phases of their real estate transactions. His educational background and years of experience make him exceptionally qualified to provide his clients with valuable insight on residential purchase and sales, probate and trustee sales, and bank-owned properties and short sales.

Michael's fondness for real estate began when he owned a successful landscaping construction business in the mid-1990s, where he worked with local realtors and property managers. He developed the ability to see and unlock a home's potential and decided to acquire his real estate license in 1997. After obtaining his first law degree, Michael joined a New Jersey-based law firm. He focused on Estate Planning, Real Estate Law and Taxation. Unlike California, virtually all northern New Jersey sellers and purchasers of real property are represented by attorneys. Through his representation of buyers and sellers, Michael gained invaluable experience in anticipating and identifying potential issues and negotiating favorable solutions. What finally drew Michael to pursue real estate in the Bay Area is the California agent's efforts to go above and beyond the duties of merely "showing" homes or hosting open houses. It may be enough for a New Jersey realtor to be personable, well-connected, and to know the local neighborhoods, but the California agent must understand the law that relates to the transaction, especially at this time of market and financial uncertainty. Being an active real estate and planning attorney, Michael is definitely knowledgeable of all procedural and legal aspects of buying or selling a home. His law firm is located in Palo Alto.
