Boutique level customer service and prompt, financially sound results are of paramount importance to Corcoran sales associate Michael Rochios. When handling the gamut of real estate needs for buyers and sellers alike, Michael is dedicated to providing the utmost professionalism, competence, and business sense; yet he also strives to get at the heart of what really motivates people. Guided by the belief that there is no more personal decision than the place one chooses to call home, Michael treats each client or customer with the same respect and care he would show a trusted friend.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Michael initially made his way east to study classical music and opera as a graduate student at the famed Juilliard School at Lincoln Center. He has called New York City home for over a decade, developing an intense fondness for the city and all its diversity.
Michael brings many assets to his real estate career from a distinguished and varied background, namely, a strong aesthetic sensibility grounded by a solid business background. Most recently before joining Corcoran, Michael worked side by side with the director of The Haven Heights Group, on the marketing and sale of mixed-use residential buildings and turn of the century brownstones. A long-time resident of the Upper West Side, Michael currently resides in Riverdale where he serves as President of the Board of Directors of his Condominium. Michael also serves on the Board of Directors of Rees Source Ventures, a private investment company with interests in real estate development, venture capital, energy, and marketable securities. He pursued his former career as an opera singer at the highest levels both in the United States and abroad. Michael has lived and studied in Europe at the Universita per Stranieri di Perugia in Italy as well as Salzburg College in Austria. He is an enthusiastic supporter and active fundraiser for Sing for Hope, a non-profit organization that mobilizes professional artists in volunteer service programs that benefit schools, hospitals, and communities. Michael is also a proud member and supporter of The Thyroid Cancer Survivors’ Association.
When not hard at work Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, remaking the world with friends over a great cup of coffee, and researching his latest consuming interest.
