Michael Seward’s start in real estate was as an independent contractor for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) conducting disaster relief home inspections. Prior to that, he was a professional archaeologist in an industry known as cultural resource management. Michael Seward has worked on archeological projects in California, Oregon, New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, and every state in the southeastern United States. Most of his archaeological career was in the southeastern part of the country where he was based out of New Orleans.
After moving back to Massachusetts in 2002, he took the classes and passed the test to get his Massachusetts real estate sales license. Later he took and passed the broker’s license exam. He has also taken the time, and continues to take the time, to learn as much about the real estate sales industry as possible. His training has lead to him earning the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist designation, the Certified Buyer’s Agent designation, the Certified New Homes Specialist designation, the Loss Mitigation Certification, and the National Association of REALTORS Green designation.
Michael Seward holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FLA and a Master of Arts degree in anthropology from California State University.
