Growing up in Eastern Washington, Michelle Clark’s love of homes began at a young age. As a child she could often be found following her dad around, acting as his carpenter’s assistant while he worked on building the family home. After she graduated from high school, The Foster School of Business at the University of Washington called her west of the mountains to Seattle. Once in Seattle, her love of residential home architecture grew as she experienced the city's neighborhoods and unique home styles. This led to getting her real estate license 25 years ago, immediately after purchasing her first home in the Fremont neighborhood and falling in love with the process.
Michelle combines her warm open personality, strong business acumen, and knowledge of home building when serving her clients. Michelle is also a serial entrepreneur and pioneer, most notably founding the first boutique vacation rental management company in Seattle. She is also very proud of her work creating a non-profit serving adolescents and their families. The program serves 13-24-year-olds in early recovery and their families, with no family ever being turned away due to financial insecurity.
Michelle and her husband James are parents to three adult-sized children, four cats, and two dogs. They recently moved from Ballard to Bellingham, where they have more space to spread out inside and out. While she most loves to travel and experience new places and cultures, it is Michelle’s yoga practice that keeps her grounded and able to ride out life’s ups and downs. A slightly guilty pleasure is riding quads with her husband in Sedro Woolley, harkening back to her childhood days riding three-wheelers on the farm where she grew up.
