Michelle checked all the boxes for our family. She has a fun bubbly personality but more than that, you can tell how deep her passion for real estate goes.
Michelle is the definition of a true go getter. She is not only extremely knowledgeable but very meticulous when it comes to her attention to detail which is exactly what you want when hiring a realtor. She was readily available any time we needed her.
And now onto Frankie.
Frankie was a pleasure to work with. He helped us every step of the way.
You can tell he genuinely cares for his clients and will advocate for them.
Whenever we had questions or concerns, Frankie was there. He always gave us his honest opinion and you can tell he is in the real estate business because he truly loves helping people achieve their goals.
Together they are a force to be reckoned with.. The dream team if you will.
You can tell they love what they do and working with them was a great experience.
They really do go above and beyond and stand behind their clients every second of the way. We will forever be grateful for their expertise and help while we navigated the unknowns of buying and selling.

My husband and I went through about 3/4 realtors before ending with Frankie and Michelle. I did plenty of research on whom to trust to purchase our first home. By the time we ended with the Nunez, we were weary and nervous based on previous dissatisfaction. From the very beginning, when I reached out to them at 9pm on a week day, they gave us their time. I was able to speak to them that night and they gave me about 1.5 hour of their time. Next, meeting up and explaining EVERYTHING in which they gave us 2 hours. Until the end, they were there for us. Even when we had questions with a lender that had nothing to do with them- they were there to answer all questions and guide us to get the best rate(in which we did thanks to their direction). This whole process was so easy and enjoyable and we ultimately owe it to God and then them. There was hardly a time we felt overwhelmed or "lost". The few times we did because of this process, they both took that away from us. Please do yourself a favor and go with them with your needs. They will not let you down. They aren't only friendly but they are so knowledgeable and genuinely care for their clients. We never felt like it was about the money or anything. They care. Thank you SO much Frankie and Michelle. Never did we think we would have gotten the house we got and such an enjoyable process for our first home. We will 100% return for future needs and recommend them to all our family and friends. The end gesture you guys gave us, really was so appreciated. We love it. Thank you a million!

They are not only extremely knowledgeable about the market in McHenry, Lake, and Cook counties, but they put in the time to walk you through every step of the process. We saw our present new house one Thurs at 5:30 pm, made an offer by 8:30pm, countered at 9:30 pm, closed the deal at 8:30am the next morning! Michelle and Frankie were AMAZING! They came highly recommended by our past realtor and I am so thankful for them. It was never about money for them and it was clear they always were supportive of what we wanted most when it came to selling our home and moving out of state. This review has been a long time coming. My wife and I were first time homebuyers with very little knowledge about how to purchase our first home. After speaking with Frankie and Michelle Nunez, we instantly knew we were in the best hands possible to help us find our first home. Both were upfront and honest with us about what we could afford, where we would want to buy and took into account our interests and what we wanted in a home. Frankie and Michelle are both informative, knowledgeable in the profession and had our best interest in mind. They really helped to take the pressure off of us.

We closed on our home in May 2019 using The Nunez Homes Team and we couldn’t have been happier that we chose them to help us along the way. They walked us through every step of the process, even with the million questions my wife had, answered any questions we had, returned our phone calls promptly and made sure that this was the most comfortable and stress-free experience we ever had.

About 2 months into our new home, our air conditioner went out during the hottest days in July. Thankfully we had a 1-year home warranty with our closing and I promptly called the home warranty service. They advised us that there was a glitch with the warranty and to contact the sellers directly to figure it out. Without hesitation and early in the morning, I called Frankie and advised him of the situation. He said, “Give me 10 min and I will have it fixed for you.” Sure enough 10 minutes later, I had an email from our home warranty stating our account had been fixed and to set up a time to get our air conditioner fixed.

My wife and I HIGHLY recommend Frankie and Michelle Nunez as they are true professionals and they genially care about their clients. It is not easy being a first-time home buyer, however they made our first home buying experience easy and enjoyable.

Frankie & Michelle are awesome! We met them, at an open house, in 2014. When we decided to move in 2015 we reached out to them. Frankie took us to see A LOT of houses, and even several offers, before we found ours. To get what we needed for our house, in the market it was in, was going to be tough. Michelle actually sold our house twice 🤣 even with the challenging market it was in. First deal fell through due to buyers financing. I thought they had a great marketing plan. Their market analysis helped ensure we got the best price and also paid a fair price. Our current home, Frankie was able to get us in to see, last minute, on a day the price dropped. That was huge to help us secure the house we still live in. That was in 2015.
We still stay in touch with them and consider them friends of ours. Since they were so great to work with, we always recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell their house.
Buying and selling a house is a big event, and can be very stressful. Having genuinely good people, with their knowledge of the housing market, working with you, is priceless!

A positive experience, it made sense to me when I decided to sell my 55+ townhome to again ask Michelle and Frankie to help me. Their professionalism is definitely one I appreciate, along with the concern for my best interest! My sell should have been relatively quick and easy but that's not how it went with a few hiccups, no fault of theirs!! When I was feeling low, Michelle called and gave me the pep talk I needed to look at the why differently. After my 1st buyer fell through, Michelle got on the phone sending out feelers right away to get me back on the interested market thread. We never worried about not being able to make an offer on a house and him not being available to see the house and help us write the offer on time. The communication was very good and open.

We hit it off right away. We met her at our home and did a walk thru. She was very honest and respectful about the repairs and updates that needed to be done.

Michelle was our main point of contact. Her efforts on our behalf, passion for her profession and knowledge of the market was a big contributor to selling our home. I'm so grateful I happened upon Frankie and Michelle!! Frankie was the "calm in the storm" of house buying- we were a bit anxious, lol, and he helped us get through every step.

We were first time buyers and were turned off by others because frankly some realtors don’t want to work with first timers because their is a lot of expectations. Not the Nunez team!!! If you, your family, or friends are looking to sell or buy… you HAVE to work with Michelle Nunez and the entire Nunez Homes Team. They made selling our townhouse and purchasing our new home in Beach Park look easy! Michelle was an absolute joy to work with, her knowledge of the industry is unmatched. I have heard horror stories of selling and buying at the same time and my wife and I were worried it couldn’t happen… Michelle made it happen! We closed on our new home on October 5th and the sale of our townhouse was finalized on the 12th of October. That’s not even the best part, we put our townhouse on the market the Sunday before Labor Day and we were under contact within 72 house… that’s with a HOLIDAY!

Both my wife and I have truly enjoyed working with Michelle and the Nunez Homes Team. They worked at our speed and timeframe, never being pushing or just “trying to make a sale”. As a young single woman and a first home buyer it was difficult to know where to even start. When we listed our home we decided to go with someone who had a presence in our neighborhood instead of using recommendations from family or friends. Michelle and Frankie proved we made the right decision. Using a professional photographer and a professional stager, they developed a smart marketing program. I am writing this letter to express my sincere thanks to Michelle for the wonderful job she did selling our home in Lake Villa, IL. Selling a home in this market is not an easy task to begin with but we had circumstances that made it even more difficult. We owned the property but live in Lexington, KY and had been renting the house out for the past six years. If you are looking for a realtor who can market your house exceptionally well, get the answers that you need regarding complicated situations, and give timely and meaningful feedback after showings, then Michelle Nunez is the realtor of choice. As a family, we decided that we wanted to get out of the area (fully aware that the market was depressed and that we would have to take a loss on the sale of the house). Michelle informed us of the options that were available to us and we decided to go with a short sale. Michelle’s utilization of the latest technology (virtual online tours, room staging, lighting, etc.) along with her excellent networking skills, allowed us to have numerous showings and an offer within 30 days of listing. With assistance of a real estate attorney and Michelle, we were able to present an offer to the bank with a speedy acceptance. Needless to say, the buyer had to back out of the deal due to complications with their finances. However, Michelle was able to generate multiple offers after the house went back on the market. The negotiation, acceptance, and closing with the bank went through seamlessly.
