Michelle Whitbeck

Michelle is a REALTOR® AND Broker Associate with Keller Williams Realty in Charleston-Mount Pleasant, SC.

Growing up in a military family, she lived in 10 different cities as a child. She met her husband, also from a military family, while at college. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA in Journalism and then completed a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Webster University. She then was a public relations consultant in the Charleston area for 19 years, operating her own PR company for 12 years.

Michelle has 22 years experience as a real estate investor and 10 years of real estate sales. She and her husband have built several homes and manage their own rental properties. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and doing thorough market analysis for her clients to give them confidence in choosing the best property whether it is as a primary residence or investment/second home.

Michelle’s business comes mostly from referrals within the Charleston community, but she has also successfully helped many out-of town clients either relocate for work or retire here.

In 2016, Michelle ranked in the top 10% of the Charleston MLS, earning her the “Realtor of Distinction” Award. In 2017 she received the Accredited Buyer Representation Designation (ABR). And that same year she also reached the goal of becoming an East Cooper Top Producer (high volume sales in East Cooper area).

Newcomers who are not familiar with the Charleston area will receive a personal tour by Michelle to help narrow down their choices. She shares her knowledge about area schools, neighborhoods that are in close proximity to the client’s work, best appreciating areas, flood zones, estimated property taxes, estimated closing costs, etc.

Whether you’re a first-time home buyer or someone who has bought in the past, Michelle’s attention to detail will ensure the purchase process gets to closing in a timely and stress-free manner. And, her service continues even after closing by being available to answer questions and provide a list of reliable contractors to help with maintaining her clients’ largest asset.

Michelle is a member of the East Cooper Breakfast Rotary Club where she has held several leading positions. She has been a volunteer and member of Seacoast Church, as well as a volunteer at the Charleston Animal Society, Lowcountry Food Bank, My Sister’s House, and East Cooper Habitat for Humanity.

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys traveling, cooking, renovating, walking, Pilates, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
