01/31/2014 - FaithMcClure Bought a home in 2013. Wow, where to begin...I am a first-time home buyer and I highly recommend Michelle. I was getting an FHA loan and using the Florida Housing Bond Program (first-time home-buyer assistance) and Michelle is very knowledgeable about these programs because she teaches one of the first-time home buyer classes! I started my search while I was still living in Massachusetts and Michelle was working behind the scenes to help find suitable properties (for example, working with her insurance contact to determine if the insurance would be affordable). And when my move suddenly got moved up by two months, Michelle quickly moved the search into high gear and help me narrow my search. I flew into town for a weekend and her business partner/brother, Jason Zwart (who was also terrific!), took me to see about eight properties in one morning. I made an offer on two of those properties and eventually ended up buying one of those. The bank took forever to process my loan and I needed a place to stay, so Michelle helped with that. She was able to give recommendations for home inspectors, insurance agent, etc. I was always able to get in touch with her when I had questions and she kept me up to date on any developments. And she negotiated a great price for my property! She went above and beyond what I would have expected from a real estate agent.

09/08/2013 - user8135075 Bought a Single Family home in 2013 in North Palm Beach, FL. CALL MICHELLE! SHE'S HONEST AND TRUSTWORTHY AND THE BEST!! Michelle simply made the home-buying process SEAMLESS for me! Her responsiveness was unbelievably fast from the very beginning. My loan officer works in the office with her and told me that he would have her give me a call, and I was like “yeah, yeah, she’ll probably call me tomorrow at work when I don’t have time to talk…” but to my utter surprise, she really did call me RIGHT back!! I knew she was the right agent for me from our first conversation. I could tell that she really cared about my needs and what I wanted. She immediately got me setup with a profile on her FlexMLS portal, where I could see the most up-to-date listings. Within a couple of days, I found a property that I knew was “the one,” and as soon as I told Michelle about it, she immediately dispatched her brother Jason for a showing the very next day. Although, I knew the property I wished to purchase, Michelle was mindful of the fact that this was my first time purchasing a home, so she had Jason show me some other GREAT properties also. That showed me that she really cared and wanted to make sure I was making an informed decision. After the showings, I told Jason that I was SURE of the property I wanted, and the very next day, 07/24/2013, Michelle had my first contract drawn up. Signing and acceptance was so easy, and she’s so savvy that I completed the WHOLE process (initialing and signatures) all on my Smartphone! I was totally blown away!! She also negotiated for MANY of my settlement and closing costs to be paid by the seller. In all, Michelle saved me over $3,700 in settlement costs (no joke!). I can go on-and-on about the level of excellence in service Michelle provided from our first conversation on 07/20/2013 to my closing on 08/30/2013. She was truly amazing! There were hiccups along the way: the seller was a difficult, inflexible, crotchety 87-year-old man; the title company was changed (by the seller, of course); the first offer was rejected by the seller; the seller refused to make electrical upgrades to make the place insurable… but Michelle handled all these difficulties with the highest level of professionalism and grace. She was ALWAYS available to answer my “stupid” questions and NEVER ignored any of my text messages. She was so patient with my inexperience and showed me the utmost kindness. I told her several times that I had the highest level of confidence in her to do what it took to get me my home, and by gosh, she came through. She saved me so much money and work and time. She sent me the best home inspector who didn’t even charge me for TWO re-inspections (because he’s wrapped around Michelle’s little finger), the BEST insurance guy, and an AWESOME electrician who saved me $2,000 on a complete electrical overhaul in the property. Michelle Zwart truly is the best, most honest, and hardest working agent in Palm Beach County, hands down! I honestly feel badly about condensing this review so much because my few words have only scratched the surface of how truly EXCELLENT my entire experience with her was. I wish her the best in her career, and I will refer everyone I know who’s looking to buy or sell a home in Palm Beach County to her. I am so grateful for her kindness, expertise, and hard work. 11/04/2013 - user13315149 Bought a home in 2013 in Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418. I had the pleasure to work with Michelle in buying our first house. Michelle was extremely helpful for naive (first home buyer) like me and my husband. We did not even know what our criteria was except for the price and location. We were glad to find Michelle to give us a quick crash course in real estate and discuss with her all possible options to stay within our budget. She printed out a variety of homes that seemed to have all kind of criteria to help us decide what we really want to have. The whole process of deciding on the house we live in now took total of 3 trips: 1. meeting with Michelle and Dan recommended lender, 2. Trip to view list of houses with different criteria (age of the house, sqft, condition of house, etc.) 3. Trip to view the houses we like in addition to few more to help decide among them. When we felt we found the house we are going to live with, we were so excited but very scared from the commitment so we could not of course decide right away. Michelle was very respectful and sensitive to the emotions going on to make this decision and gave us enough time to follow up with us on our decision. Any time I emailed or called Michelle, I find a response if not immediate, it will be with in 1 hour. Michelle was EXTREMELY helpful too in shopping for us for home insurance….all these little details we had no clue we had to do, but we were very thankful for Michelle and all her help during buying our first new home.

She knows the area, and knows what the going rental rate is for our area so we get top rental dollar. She also prepares the lease, collects the security deposit and first rent, and meets the new tenants with the keys on move in day. Before using Michelle to help us with our rentals, we would waste so much time showing the properties to unqualified prospects, often taking weeks to secure a tenant that was not always a good fit.
