About Mick

When Mick Kelly became a Vail Valley luxury real estate broker in 2002, it was not a decision he took lightly. Growing up in a construction family in Greenwich, Connecticut, Mick moved west to enjoy the stunning Vail Valley and beauty of Colorado in 1990 after graduating from Middlebury College.

Mick specializes in luxury properties in Vail Village and Beaver Creek Resort, Bachelor Gulch, Arrowhead, and Cordillera. That said, he is connected to and knowledgeable about the entire Vail Valley, having completed numerous transactions at a variety of price points. His over 20 years of residency and real estate sales experience in the area have given him the history and expertise that sellers and buyers alike find helpful when marketing or searching for a home, resort condominium, mountain ranch or land.

An easy demeanor coupled with a devoted work ethic, Mick's even-keeled style and non-pushy approach has made him one of Vail Valley's top real estate brokers. Honored to be the Fuller Sotheby's International Realty Beaver Creek office's Top Producer for the consecutive years of 2012 and 2013, Mick's experience, dedication, negotiation abilities and focus continues to benefit his growing list of satisfied clients. A committed Realtor, Mick is a Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) and a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) along with being a member of the Board of Regents of Luxury Real Estate.

Taking advantage of his construction background and having spent years renovating and building homes himself, Mick transferred his knowledge into full time real estate sales and now possesses a tremendous amount of first-hand experience from blueprint to closing table.

'I've learned a lot about the Vail Valley over the past twenty plus years and enjoy combining this history with my construction background to help clients find or sell their mountain home,' Mick outlines. 'Understanding the various resort amenities and community nuances allows me to help clients use their time efficiently by identifying properties that best matches their mountain home vision.'

Raising his family in the Vail Valley has given him a great appreciation for the many local programs and activities in the area. Giving back to this wonderful community by sitting on the Board of Directors for the Vail Mountaineer Hockey Club and by coaching two teams - a boys team and a girls team, has been a joy and has allowed him to work with great people in the area.
