After serving in the United States Marine Corps and several years in the golf business, Kevin’s full-time career in real estate began in 2001 as a salesperson for a land development company. After leading the company in sales 4 years in a row, he was promoted to the role of General Manager overseeing the acquisition, development, marketing and sales throughout the state of Wisconsin until the fall of 2009. During this time, his team developed numerous residential and lakefront developments from south central Wisconsin up to Bayfield, WI.
In the fall of 2009, Kevin started Terra Firma Realty where the focus would no longer be on developing properties, but in real estate brokerage where he could help others with their purchase and sale of residential and recreational properties. Since 2001, he has been involved in over 2,500 transactions helping individual families with their real estate needs.
In addition to his passion for growing Terra Firma Realty and helping as many people as possible, Kevin has had an active role in the communities he serves. Living in DeForest with his wife and 2 adult children, he has been involved in coaching youth sports, President of the DeForest Area Gridiron Club, and led numerous non-profit fundraising efforts.
With a passion for water, he has been a certified scuba diver since the age of 12, skied for the Capital City Water Ski team many years ago, and enjoys spending any free time on the lake with his family. Kevin’s passion for water led him to join and then become a board member of the Petenwell and Castle Rock Stewards (PACRS) and one of the founders of the Blue Water Business Consortium, an organizational venture with River Alliance of Wisconsin. Both organizations focus on improving water quality in their respective areas of expertise.
During his down time, he also enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, real estate investing, and everything Badgers and Packers.
