Mike Evans

After receiving a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Arizona in 1996 with a background in music performance and education, Mike was drawn to a career in law enforcement where he discovered a passion for providing dedicated service to others. During his over 20-year tenure, he sought and held various positions and assignments that allowed him to foster that passion and impact his community positively. He was the recipient of numerous personal and team awards, which included the 2014 National Internal Affairs Investigator of the Year presented by the National Internal Affairs Investigators Association (N.I.A.I.A.).

Having spent most of their lives in Arizona, he and his wife grew tired of the desert brown and unrelenting heat. Therefore, they searched for years to find the perfect place—for his wife, it had to be green, with lots of trees, hiking, ocean views, mountain views, excellent dining options, and year-round cool to moderate temperatures, and for him, it was simply golf and a good hardware store. The day after his retirement, his beautiful and patient wife, their insane Siberian Huskies, and he packed up their wagon and moved to Gig Harbor, WA, where all their needs and wants were met. They fell in love with the area, the people, the weather, the dog-friendliness, and the access to everything you could want or need while retaining that small town and away-from-it-all feeling.

After establishing deep roots in the community, Mike quickly recognized his desire to assist others had not ended with his retirement. Therefore, becoming a real estate agent was a no-brainer. The same core traits of dedication, integrity, and commitment along with excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and organization that made him successful in law enforcement translate into providing a trusting and reliable service for his real estate clients who are making one of the most important and stressful financial decisions of their lives.
