I had a unusual property that was gutted on a large parcel listed by a local agent and after 9 months in a low inventory/ sellers market
I never received any serious offers. Mike Gregor from the Cohen Agency reached out during my research in finding a new agent. I was skeptical because of his office being in the opposite side of the state but that did not matter and after refreshing the property ad I started seeing an increase in showings and in no time I got a cash offer that I was happy with. As a couple that asks a lot of questions, Mike was extremely patient with us with our dozens and dozens of questions throughout our 6 or 7 month search. I was working with Mike Gregor for a bit and he showed me a couple places. I ended up putting in a request to see a house for rent in Winsted, CT. It was Mikes listing and he reached out to me about the request. I was excited that it was his listing because out of all the places we've seen and people we worked with, he was the one I felt comfortable with the most. We set up a time to view it and fell in love with it immediately. We put in an application for the house immediately, got approved and put the deposit down with a couple days of viewing it. We had a hiccup at one point and thought we would have to wait 20-30 until the move in date. We reached out to him about this concern and he was able to manage to get us in on the 1st of the month.
