About Mike

My wife and I moved to Hickory NC in 2005 from South Jersey. While we miss our family and friends in NJ, we have made the Hickory area our home and can not imagine living anywhere else. We raised our kids here and have seen this area thrive in recent years. We love the fact that we are in a small town with some big city amenities but are only an hour or so from Charlotte and Asheville.

I started working as an agent in 2006 and fell in love with helping people buy and sell homes. After a few years as a top producing agent I decided to strike it out on my own and created my own real estate firm in 2010 with Kathleen. I am still practicing agent but I am also focused on developing our agents and giving them the tools they need to be successful.

My husband and I bought a house and sold our house with the help of Mike Kelly and Hickory Real Estate Group. It was a great experience. We first put in an offer on the house we brought and Mike negotiated with them and got us a fair price. Our house sold in 5 days. Mike priced it at a good price that we agreed on. He also sold my niece's condo in 5 days. Mike knows how to price homes in different areas to get them sold quickly.
