A founding member of The Moir Group, Mike is passionate about development and new construction in the Boise region. His specializations range from residential new construction and residential resales, land valuation to commercial buildings and he readily aids clients looking to buy, sell or invest in new developments. In addition to achieving the Boise Regional of Realtors Circle of Excellence Top Producer award every year since 2016, Mike and The Moir Group have also been recognized in the RealTrends 1000 as one of the top-producing teams in the state. A devoted mentor, Mike leads by example and is always willing to share his time and knowledge to cultivate the skills and confidence of newer agents. Raised in Tempe, Arizona, Mike attended Arizona State University and went on to achieve a degree in finance from the University of Alaska Anchorage. A natural business leader with a sense for team-building, prior to becoming an agent, Mike owned and operated NAPA Auto Parts stores for 16 years alongside his wife (and fellow Managing Partner at The Agency Boise) Robyn Moir. They started with one location and soon expanded to three stores with more than 50 employees. "We built business and personal relationships that carried over after we sold that business and started our real estate career," says Mike. "The lessons learned and reputation earned helped us jumpstart our business in real estate. We knew land owners and builders, and people knew that we were reliable business owners. Owning a business and commercial real estate helped us understand the investment side of real estate on a more personal level. We've been on both sides of the transaction and know what it feels like to take a risk." Devoted to lifelong learning and exploring, in his free time Mike can be found traveling, boating, hiking, camping or skiing with his wife, Robyn and their children. Mike is also a longtime supporter of youth athletics and the Women's and Children's Alliance (WCA).
