I needed a buyers broker who knew the neighborhoods, where I could fit in and I had a lot of demands regarding location, style, and fees, etc. Not an easy order. I started working for renting out a unit I had in Columbia Heights DC. I tried to do it myself but struggled to get people to show up to view the place. Furthermore, I contacted other realtors and they didn't want to work with a unit that wasn't a year lease, mine was only supposed to be 6 months. I thought that was odd since they still make money regardless and I did tell them I'd be open to letting them manage other properties I had if the relationship went well long term.
Mikel randomly reached out to me (I suppose he saw my own rental listings on Zillow, Redfin, Craigslist) for help with property management. He was willing to work with me to rent out my place for 6 months and ideally furnished.
Once we started getting viewings, in a week or so we found suitable people to sign lease for 6 months furnished which is what I wanted. That was a quick turn around for me and I couldn't do it myself before.
I certainly recommend Mikel and his team for your property management needs!

Mikel truly went above and beyond in helping us purchase our house. He was incredibly responsive, friendly, and provided a great deal of comfort during the whole home buying process. He was able to meet us at houses early in the morning during the work week and quickly scheduled viewings for the weekend as well. I was recently involved in a purchase transaction with a client of Mikel's, where I worked closely with him throughout the process. He was responsive, professional and truly put his client's needs first. As the deal was wrapping up, I spoke with the agent who was working with the seller of the property and he told me "the only reason this deal came together was because of Mikel." I wasn't aware of it at the time, but it turns out that even though our client's offer wasn't the highest, Mikel won over the seller and their agent with his approach.
