Missi has lived in the Outer Banks since 2012. She instantly fell in love with the beauty of the area, and the small town charm of the community. She owned a Surf Shop in Kill Devil Hills and is raising her children here. She is involved in the community and the amazing Dare County School System, and is very familiar with each town and the neighborhoods. She became interested in Real Estate while selling her own home and relocating to the Outer Banks. She loves nothing more than help someone find their new forever home or a great investment opportunity in this unique and beautiful area. Her hobbies include spending quality time with her children, helping people learn to surf, and her German Shepherd, Bindi !

We came to the Outer Banks for the very first time on vacation and were "curious" about house prices, specifically building a new home in the future when our son goes off to college. We had ZERO intentions of buying a home until then. We just wanted to check things out and I had to give my email on the Outer Banks Realty Group website so I could see house listings. Missi reached out and I told her all our future dreams. She suggested we met up with her at the beginning of our trip so she could show us around the island and give us all the information we would need for the future. She showed us different lots and gave us great information about the towns and the schools with zero pressure. I showed her one house that was "my dream house" and said this is the house I want to retire in!

We parted ways and went on our vacation, with a lot to think about. She contacted us at the end of our trip because she had found a community that was building the exact model of my dream house and asked if we would like to check it out? Of course we had to come see it! Her grace, kindness and lack of pressure was amazing. She instantly felt like a good friend that we could trust!

Needless to say, we fell in love with the home and realized that moving now would be good for our family. I coined her as the "Sales woman of the year" because we never thought in a million years we would go on vacation and end up buying a house. All of our friends were like.. "Wow, who is this magical unicorn?"

When we started the process to build our new house, Missi was there with us every step of the way! We lived out of state so she was our eyes and ears. She would go on walks with her dog and take photos of the house for us frequently. She would bring pizza to the people working on the house to be kind. She was absolutely amazing. Building a house is no easy task and she kept us sane through the whole process, and believe me, there were some moments where my sanity was tested with the building process. We were so grateful that we had her on our team. She was our champion!

Working with her was the highlight of the whole process! She is real, she is fun, and she is honest! I would highly recommend her for anyone looking to sell or buy! Buying a house is a big life event, Missi is the very best person you want along your side during that journey!
