She started in the private sector working in an aerospace division, then working for the United States Federal Government where she subsequently retired. She attended Waubonsee Community College and College of Dupage along with Kaplan University. Monica was born and raised between the Chicago Land Area and Anasco, Puerto Rico. She has been living in the great Dona Ana and El Paso County area for the last 23 years of her life. She has two amazing children and great parents.
