About Monroe

Originally from neighboring Columbus County, NC I grew up on a small family farm which I later managed and grew into one of the largest farming operations in Southeastern North Carolina. After graduating from North Carolina State University I came home to manage the family farm until 2004 when I made the move to Coastal Brunswick County. I am one of the founders and an original member of Waccamaw Bank's Board of Directors. All my life experiences have lead me to a career in real estate sales. From my life long love of the land, to the honing of my negotiating skills as a salesman in the cut throat produce business, to my financial experience as member of the Board of Directors, Loan Committee, and chairman of the Properties Committee of Waccamaw Bank.

My real estate career had included tenure with Coldwell Banker Sloane Realty in Sunset Beach, Coldwell Banker Commercial Sloane Realty in Shallotte and Prudential Burroughs and Chapin in Ocean Isle Beach. Over the course of my career I have earned many top sales awards from both Coldwell Banker and Prudential. In July 2010 I joined the Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty family. My decision to join the Coldwell Banker Sea Coast famiily was a simple one, they operate their business by the same principles I always have. Be honest with everyone, always maintain my integrity, and offer my clients nothing short of professional representation.
