About Myra

Myra García, a former corporate site selector herself, has deep RGV connections as has been a key part of its development.

Myra Caridad García has been in economic development on both sides of the US/Mexico border for more than 30 years. As VP of Business Development and Sales for some of the largest development companies in Mexico, Myra assisted international manufacturing companies establish operations in North America; this included land acquisition, leases of industrial facilities, or the negotiations of build-to-suit facilities. Myra has also served as Senior Vice President of the McAllen Economic Development Corporation, Executive Vice President and Executive Director of the Economic Development Division of the Greater Corpus Christi Business Alliance and has engaged in multiple consulting contracts with developers, site selectors, and manufacturing companies throughout her years in the business. Myra has also supported several projects with the use of New Market Tax Credits in South Texas and through this vehicle, has helped meet the primary objective of the Federal program - create jobs and stimulate regional economies in severely distressed pockets of Texas.

As part of M2 Property Group, Myra blends her vast experience with her partner’s and the entire Re/Max Property Group team to envelope a full service residential, commercial, industrial, and investment real estate team.
