The 3 Telefords are highly coordinated so the whole process was seamless--I didn't have to explain an issue more than once. I had a multitude of issues with my lender at the last minute closing was delayed by weeks. But Nancy put on her counselor hat which helped keep the anxiety at bay. Also, my purchasing range was lower than most of what was available in my area. So although my condo was far less expensive than houses in the community, I feel her interactions with me were on par with multi-million $ customers. Thanks for everything!

I was a first-time seller and I am very happy I had Nancy on my side. When it came time to sell my home, I interviewed many agents in the area but I went with Nancy for a couple of reasons: 1) she has impeccable follow-up and I felt that would translate well into our home sale (it did) and 2) she has the strongest online presence of any agent in the area. If she knows how to market herself, I was sure she could market my home just as effectively (she did!). Nancy's experience really helped when selling my home, as she was very knowledgeable on what to do when any problems surfaced and provided creative solutions that worked. When she didn't have the answer, she knew someone who did and I had access to all kinds of people through her contacts. Tom was a extremely knowledgeable source both in terms of the home purchasing process as well as local information about Claremont (school systems, neighborhoods, gardening/pool services etc.). He is easy to talk to and exceedingly responsive to email/cell phone communications. What made Tom exceed a good-4-star rating and earn 5-star ratings was his help after the closure of escrow when the sellers were requesting extension beyond the contractural move-out date. Tom kept in close contact with us and communicated many messages to the sellers' agent (who was minimally responsive at that point) and helping me through the process - he even drove by the home to see if a moving truck had arrived at the projected date and reminded me when trash day was so I could move my trash cans to the curb. I also appreciated the electronic signature process Tom utilized (1000% more conenient than the old sign and mail back-and-forth process from 5 years ago) although perhaps this is now standard across all agents now. Would work with them again in a heartbeat.

01/20/2011 - feminist Sold a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $650K in Claremont, CA. Nancy Telford is smart, patient, knows real estate and people, and works very hard. She helped us to sell our home in 2010. The selling offer came in 3 days after the house was listed and we were extremely pleased with the selling price. Nancy gave sound advice about preparing the property and referred us to excellent local services like a gardener and termite company. Publicity via newspapers, on the web, and with other agents was outstanding. Nancy made sure that necessary paperwork was ready before the offer came in and that we understood what we were signing. Similar to when she listed the house, Nancy negotiated with our best interests in mind - not just to make a quick sale. Through it all, Nancy returned phone calls and email quickly and thoughtfully. There were no surprises except how fast the house sold. If we had been buying in S. CA, Nancy would have been our purchasing agent too. A friend told me that you always wind up hating your agent. Not true with Nancy Telford. She and Tom are genuinely pleasant people who make the challenges of real estate transactions as good as it gets.

11/20/2014 - freudblvr Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $650K in Upland, CA. Nancy and Tom Telford were instrumental in the sale of our property in Upland. After several months of unsuccessful attempts with another Realtor, we appealed to their vast experience and knowledge of the area and it paid off. At first, our selection was made purely based on numbers, as Nancy had by far the best track record of all Upland local Realtor we had found in our research, but as my wife and I interviewed Nancy and Tom, we immediately knew they would be the Realtor who'd sell our house. Our property, albeit beautiful and large, had it's set backs. An interesting and innovative floor plan is not necessarily what a typical family look for when purchasing a home. Nancy had her work cut out for her, but she was diligent, attended to our every wish, had a great marketing plan which was well executed, impeccable communication ethic, and most importantly, a great positive attitude with a personality to match. It took several months to find our buyer, and when we did, it was a very difficult transaction. This was our 6th real estate transaction over the years, and by far the most difficult one. Our buyer was very demanding and challenged us every step of the way. Nancy did an amazing job keeping her composure and taking the blunt of the stress. She knew when to negotiate, how to act, and when to act. Due to her skills, we were able to close in a timely manner and achieved the profits we expected. We would indeed recommend Nancy Telford and her associates for any of your real estate transactions.
