Nicole Moran

Since day one, family has been Nicole and Rolando Moran's primary motivator. Their 5-year partnership progressed in 2015 with marriage, then stepped into real estate a few years later. Since, they have grown both their family and their business while following the idea that success is determined by "having everything you need and doing what makes you happy."

One from Rock Island and another in Mexico City, the Moran's were on separate paths until five years ago. Rolando moved to America in the 90s where he learned English, earned his high school diploma, and worked diligently to help his family's business. Meanwhile, Nicole was balancing the responsibilities of being a single parent, working two jobs, and attending college in her thirties.

Shortly after their lives merged, Nicole began her work in real estate through an administrative position within a business that just happened to be in the field with primary intentions to transition into an IT career there. She quickly learned her love for being involved in one of life's biggest events: becoming a homeowner. After over 25 years in restaurant management, Rolando's success prompted him to make a career change. He earned his real estate license to collaborate with his wife. They decided they could provide more for their clients working as a team. Moran explained, with both of their skills combined they provide a service to their clients that is more than just shopping for a house.

Looking into the future, the dynamic duo plans to continue helping buyers and sellers "reach their goals and dreams" through growing their real estate careers. Due to their recent experience with a rental property built in the 1860s, the pair is also interested in venturing into historic preservation and growth in older areas of the QC.

When they are not helping others find the house of their dreams, Nicole and Rolando are working on their own home. One of the biggest projects taken on by the pair is the renovations made to their home, previously vacant for over 35 years. They are extremely proud of their progress as Rolando has done all the construction work on his own. Nicole said he "has the skills to do just about anything he can dream up." Designing new and unique features for their home together has become one of their favorite pastimes.

Other hobbies they share include camping, boating, and spending time with their family. They are very proud grandparents and spend the majority of their spare time with their grandchildren. When the families joined together as one through marriage, Rolando not only became a step-father, but he also became a grandfather the same year! The Moran's value their trips to visit family in Mexico where they bring their grandchildren, Ava'Lynn (5) and Byron (2), along.

The pair passionately believes in the importance behind charity work within their own community currently. Supporting local organizations as needed, just this year they gave a car to a single parent of two, helped the Salvation Army by ringing the bell at Christmas time, donated clothing to those in need, and many more community service opportunities. Caring for all, going beyond to provide the best service for their clients, and working to support their family in all aspects demonstrates the motivation behind all the Morans' accomplishments.
