About Nikki
First of all, Nikki would like to thank you for taking the time to read about what brought me to real estate and how she is here to serve You. As a Realtor, Nikki believes that the client is the most important piece of the real estate puzzle. Let's face it, without You, they would not exist! Therefore, You should be treated as their number one priority. The golden rule of treating others how you want to be treated is number 1 in her business!
Nikki was born in Murfreesboro, TN and her family settled in Blount County when she was around 4 years old. She always knew she would serve others in some way growing up, because all of her career goals were based around serving. Nikki first explored the medical field in high school by joining Health Occupations Students of America. She took a leading role as treasurer and later became the president. After high school, she continued to work in the medical field until she committed herself to another dream of serving others, law enforcement. As an officer, Nikki patrolled the communities of Knoxville, TN. She had her mind set on moving up the ranks to a Deputy Chief of Police and retiring from that position. Well, apparently she did not realize that when she gave birth to her son, Nikki's maternal side would change everything, even after over 7 years of building her career. She earned numerous certifications including Crisis Negotiator, Crisis Intervention Team Officer, Certified Tactical Bicycle Officer, Field Training Officer, and Certified Instructor, which brought a vast knowledge of the duties and ethics necessary to provide the best experience for buyers and sellers. Nikki absolutely loved being a police officer; however, the guilt of leaving my children made her reconsider her career choice. After a long period of time, consideration, prayer, and advice from fellow officers, Nikki took a huge leap of faith. She left to spend less time focusing on and building my beloved career to focus on family and real estate.
Some of you are wondering where real estate came into the picture. Well, let her rewind for you a bit. Nikki purchased her first home in 2004 at the young age of 19. It was an older home with lots of charm that needed a little love and care, and she couldn't wait to get her hands dirty to give it life again. From there, she was hooked! Nikki thought this was always something she would do on the side as a hobby, and her career would involve serving others. Several years later and four home purchases down the road, Nikki and her husband and bought their first "flip" home. They had so much fun remodeling this beauty that we put a contract on another "diamond in the rough" before they sold the first! What better real estate opportunity than to facilitate the improvement of homes that once had an adverse effect on the community’s resale value and environment by giving these homes new life and placing them back on the market for others to enjoy and call home. The task of investing has given me a vast amount of experience in real estate transactions, financing, community involvement, remodeling, negotiations and organization. A longtime friend encouraged me to get my real estate license soon after Nikki left law enforcement. It made absolute sense! She could help others accomplish their goals/dreams of homeownership, investing, and in other real estate areas.
