Native Texans are very fond of their heritage and rightly so. With that said, there are a fair number of us from somewhere else who like to say, “I may not be a native Texan, but I got here as quick as I could!” Pam Green fits that description perfectly! Moving to the big city of Houston nearly 25 years ago from that somewhere else, she has lived in this state longer than any other place and is proud to call Texas home. With an established career at a major airline and working in busy downtown Houston, one fateful weekend she and her husband decided to get out of the city and just go for a drive. They ended up in Washington County, and stumbled upon a little house in need of a bit of TLC. It was located on about three acres on top of a hill with views of the rolling hills Brenham is famous for. The rest they say is history!! Fast forward about 20 years and the little house has been moved on to 55 acres of land they call Rancho Verde and is now their primary residence with the hustle bustle of the big city just a memory.
Pam brings a unique perspective to the real estate profession. Having escaped to the simple life of Washington County, she has lived the experience of building a new home and renovating an old one plus turning a raw piece of land into a little ranchette complete with horses and cattle. More recently, Rancho Verde has been converted to a wildlife area and is in various stages of prairie restoration and wildlife habitat enhancements. That practical hands on experience is valuable whether you need top marketing advice when selling or guidance in the buying process.
