About Pamela
My name is Pam Pariso, and I'm a full-time REALTOR® who helps people buy, sell or rent their properties in the:
* Elmira
* Corning, and
* Watkins Glen region of upstate New York.
I also love Seneca Lake and will take any excuse to show properties along its shoreline!
My career background before real estate was in public relations and marketing communications. I was an expert desktop publisher and before real estate, I worked as a public information officer for local school districts, so I'm very familiar with the local educational system.
Education:
- Bachelor's in English, SUNY at Fredonia
- Master's in Education, Elmira College
My office is located at Keller Williams Realty is located at 21 E. Market St., Ste. 101, Corning, NY, but I mostly work from my home office in Elmira,
My passion is helping people prepare their homes for sale, helping with staging, and then marketing their property to get it the most interest and traffic possible -- online and in person -- to find you the right buyer as quickly as possible., at the best price possible.
I also love working with buyers, especially first-time home buyers.
I'm a life-long area resident. Raised on a Holstein dairy farm in a rural valley east of Elmira, I grew up embraced by the beauty of the Southern Tier of New York as the oldest of four.
My childhood included camping, roller skating, ice skating and horseback riding. Mom (Barb Pipher) was a teacher with the Elmira City School District with a knack for interior design, who owned a furniture and gift shop called The Willow Shoppe. Dad (Lemuel Pipher), a hard-working entrepreneur, founded a successful concrete company called Custom Mix Concrete that still thrives today under the ownership of my brother (John Pipher).
I understand construction from dad's business, and interior design from mom. I also know a lot about farming and its challenges, as my brother Tom Pipher was a Cornell grad in Agricultural Business. He was the regional director of the USDA for decades. My sister Becky is also in real estate.
This background gives me an understanding of the local housing market. I'm happily married with adult children and grandchildren, and my husband and I are also property owners of several local rental properties.
