Patrice Willetts

In her 30-plus years as a REALTOR®, Patrice Willetts has worked with first time home buyers, retirees, investors, as well as many repeat clients as their needs have changed. At this stage in her real estate career, Patrice now finds herself working with the children of her past clients. She views this as an honor and testament to her client service.

Important to Patrice is the protection and promotion of Private Property Rights. She has served in many volunteer capacities in order to do this. In 2000 Patrice served as the President of Cape Fear REALTORS® and in 2013 she served as President of the North Carolina Association of REALTORS®. Locally she has been a member of the Wilmington Board of Adjustment and has served on the City of Wilmington/UNCW Community Relations taskforce, appointed by the Wilmington Mayor.

Education is a huge component of Patrice’s repertoire. As an approved instructor for the North Carolina Real Estate Commission and for the National Association of REALTORS®, Patrice regularly shares her passion and knowledge of the real estate industry and brings a high level of professionalism to her peers. Patrice is also a faculty member of Dynamic Directions, Inc., a global company specializing in programs, training, and consulting for the real estate industry.

She can often be found in the classroom talking about new laws and rules that impact the real estate industry, increasing awareness of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics and helping others to be successful as they represent their customers and clients.

REALTORS® have important roles in their communities. Patrice embraces this responsibility and seeks outlets to stay engaged with community, and to be a resource. She has served as a Past President of the Wilmington Rotary Club as well as serving on various committees for any other civic groups. She was very active with the Honor Flight program that works with Veterans to transport them to Washington, D.C. to visit their memorials.

Patrice was Cape Fear REALTORS® “REALTOR® of the Year” in 2002 and is also the recipient of their Hall of Fame Award. The Hall of Fame Award recognizes association members who offer the most innovative and entrepreneurial ideas for others to borrow and use in their own success.
