I grew up in Anderson Township, but after college, I left Ohio to serve in the Marine Corps. That path led to a fulfilling military career, which I retired from the reserves in 2016. In 1998, I also became a police officer in Los Angeles, eventually working as a detective until retiring from law enforcement in 2024.

As retirement approached, many of my California coworkers planned moves to states like Texas, Tennessee or Florida—but I knew I was coming home to the tri-state area. When I told people, they laughed or raised eyebrows. But defending this region made me realize just how much I had grown to love it. The Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana area is, in my eyes, the heart of America: full of history, authenticity, and character. It’s a hidden gem, and I’m proud to call it home.

That passion for the area led me to real estate. I enjoy exploring the region’s diverse neighborhoods, learning their stories, and helping people find just the right place to live and grow.
