My Husband and I have worked with Peggy two times now. First, to find a townhome to rent last year and the second to find and buy our dream home in May of 2014. Our daughter Caitlyn and son-in-law Joe worked with Peggy to secure a rental home in St. Charles in 2010. They utilized Peggy's services again to help them find the right home to purchase in St. Charles the very next year. They recommended her to my wife Sue and I early in 2014 and Peggy worked with us in finding our home which we closed on in late June'14. If I were forced to select one word to describe Peggy it would be professional. She listens extremely well to what your needs and desires are, which, having been in sales my working life, I value highly. She's very knowledgeable about the market and housing in general and when she opined about something, it was invariably useful. She insists you call her at any time to arrange for a showing and always encourages you to look at as many houses as you can as a better decision will likely be the result. This was nice as we never felt like we were bothering her. Another thing I really liked is how promptly she responded to calls, texts, emails.......everything. I found this VERY satisfying and reassuring. She was always consistent, straightforward, and pleasant.You could tell Peggy loves her work. It shows. By the way, on September 18th, Peggy was our youngest daughter's realtor as she and her husband, Ryan took ownership of THEIR new home in St. Charles! At one point, they were unable to meet to get a estimate for some work that needed to be done. Peggy met with the man instead to help them out. Just over 14 years ago I started looking for my first house and Peggy Cain was referred to me. After looking around and finally deciding on the house to purchase back then she offered a lot of insight and knowledge with what to do, buying ones first house can be an intimidating adventure. Since then she has also helped friends and family members with all aspects of real state form buying and selling. Over the past few years we have been looking into up-sizing and there was no question on who to call to handle the transaction for us. This time we were being a little picky on what we were looking for and over the past two years we looked at a handful of houses where Peggy had no issue on getting something set up on a moment’s notice and taking us to see the houses that ended up not appealing to us then we would wait and a few months later another house would come up on the market and we would not be interested. Then finally it happened! Within 3 days of house being put on the market she had the contract in hand ready for us to sign, and at the same time she had a few contacts for the home inspections for us to review! During the time between the contracts being signed and closing Peggy kept everyone from; myself, the sellers, lawyers, and the mortgage officers informed of everything that was happening so that the closing would go, and did go smoothly. During the closing process I mentioned to Peggy that I wanted to turn our existing house into an investment property, and she said to let her know when I was ready to put the old house up for rent. Once I mentioned that we were ready for rental she handled it quickly and it was listed within a few days of the staging. Within two weeks we had a signed lease and the tenants where moving in. I would recommend Peggy Cain to anyone that needs a realtor that is very knowledgeable, quick thinking, quick to action and patient all at the same time!

One goes through a gamut of emotions, highs and lows, while trying to not second guess every decision that you made along the way. From the onset, you have so many things outlined in your mind of your wants and by the end it is amazing what stands out as the most important and the decision making criteria. Working in sales myself, I know how many businesses operate. And, therefore, have little tolerance for high pressure sales people who do not take the time to identify with the needs of their clients and want to tell them how they are rated #1, etc to win the business. Since I was turned off by some of the realtors I came in to contact with, I decided to research houses on my own through search engines such as Trulia. On this site, I came across Peggy Cain. We connected quickly because she let me find my dream home the way I wanted to do it, on my timeline not hers. She didn't push but rather asked questions to understand better; she utilized my time wisely weeding down house suggestions based on previous selections; and she let me walk away from buying a house twice when I needed to. She was in it for me, not for anything else. Having little to no experience in this process, Peggy walked me through all aspects of the home buying process. She provided recommendations and then repeated herself again on the home buying process. And, then again to ensure a smooth process throughout. She was extremely knowledgeable about the neighborhoods I was looking at, highlighting both the pros and cons. Peggy takes personal satisfaction is finding her clients their dream home.
